I have had a mustache for over 30 years. I would never trim it short, because then you could see my teeth. I rarely laughed, and when I did, I made sure I covered my mouth with my hand. I did not want anyone to see my decaying and broken teeth. But when my dog got Congestive Heart Failure because he had bad teeth, and I learned that humans can have this problem too. I decided I had to do something about my mouth. Now I once again enjoy joking and laughing with family and friends, and I keep my mustache trimmed nicely. And sometimes I just smile ... because I can.
