De Witt C. Wilkerson D.M.D.
Dr. Wilkerson is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and received his undergraduate degree from Emory University. He then attended the University of Florida College Of Dentistry graduating in 1982. He entered private practice in St. Petersburg in 1982 when he joined the practice of Dawson, Roach, and DuPont Dentistry, PA. He is an educator and clinician with an emphasis on problem solving cases involving Restorative Dentistry, Occlusal and TM Disorders. He has lectured at most major dental meetings across the United States and in several other countries. He is the Director of Clinical Studies at The Dawson Academy, a Special Lecturer at the L.D. Pankey Institute, adjunct Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Governing Council of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and the Board of Directors of the American Equilibration Society. He was recently recognized as one of America’s Top Dentists.
Dr Wilkerson and his wife Patricia have 3 children. The oldest is Todd, Whitney is the only girl and the youngest is Ryan.
Dr. Wilkerson’s interests are coaching little league sports and teaching a men’s class for Bible Study Fellowship International. Dr Wilkerson also enjoys summer travel on dental mission trips to places such as Kenya and Romania.
